Sale Prices vs. New Prices

I love the latest price drops tracker at the top of the site, but I am never sure what is a sale price for the week, and what is the new price. Is there any way to tell, besides checking the best buy ads? There are some which you can tell or already know it's just for the week, cause you've come across the info, but what about films like The Green Mile? I couldn't find anything specific about it being a sale item, but $8.00 seems like a huge drop. I'd love to have this movie, but with buying so many others in the upcoming weeks, I'm not sure if this is something I must buy now to get the price, or if it'll be the standard new adjusted price from now on. Any help on when to know whats new and whats just a sale would be greatly appreciated.

this really isnt the section for this....but the tracker just tracks the price and the drop. it doesnt really knows if its just a price match for BB, walmart or if Amazon is just lowering the price on its on. I dont think you can really do what you are asking for

I thought cause this is the hot deals section this was the perfect place to ask this question, but um ok. And what do you mean I can't really do what I am asking for? I just want to know if there is another section of the site that tells you when the price change is lasting or on sale. You made it sound like i'm trying to manipulate BD prices lol.

i would say anything under 19.99 would be considered a true "sale" price ...

19.99 seems to be the new set price for first week New Release Blus and after the first week they go back up to msrp or the sticker price which is now $22.99 - $29.99

the only real way to find out the best sale price is to look at ads on sunday ... amazon seems to only price match best buy on a weekly bases ... they dont price match other stores as much or at all.

Oh alright, wasn't sure if you guys had a system to this or not. Just gonna keep checking the ads I guess, lol.
