Sub cables are like digital coaxial cables used for CD/DVD players or cable. It is best to use RG6, CL2 rated cables with RCA connectors at both end.. RG6 cables have good shielding.

Do not use regular analog RCA cables. If you touch and move them slighly, you will hear a hum. RG6 is also better than RG59.

Note that all Monoprice subwoofer cables are RG6, CL2:

Great site - I have the 6' and the 35' ready to order as of a day or ago -- with the 2nd PSW10 I picked up Sunday & just rec'd New 1M/2F & 1F/2M (<--2 ea) connectors, should have it all hooked up shortly. I measured yesterday and since my 2nd Sub is going cross/corner from Sub# 1 (only real place it Can go in my liv. room), I found it's a little over 27' or so to go along the wall, up & over the front door, to the spot under the end table.

Can't wait to hook em' both up, and put in - For the 1st Time - The Dark Knight. Been waiting to get the 2nd sub after having the movie for weeks w/out watching it.
