Default Wall mounting

I'm looking to wall mount my Definitive Technology Promonitor 800's on the wall behind my sofa. I've done a little research and found the Def. tech. Promount 80's for about $40. Then I read all the negative reviews about them. Then I found the Omnimount 10.0 for about $60 and they have mixed reviews. It also looks like the Omnimount places them farther from the wall which might help with angling. Has anyone had experience with either mounts and what do you recommend?

Well, I don't have any experience with the wall mounts you mentioned but I am very satisfied with the UNI-LOK Heavy Duty Speaker Brackets which I used to mount my pair of Definitive Tech BP-2x's to the wall. They have a lifetime warranty and I liked the fact that one can lock both swivel and tilt and you can order them in either silver or black. They cost right around the price you mentioned for the Omnimount 10.0. Hope this helps!!

do these have keyhole brackets in the back? if so, use sheetrock anchors, the heavy duty ones.
