Default 50'' Samsung PS50A556S

Well, i got my new TV today and so far i am delighted with it, i crossed the LCD/Plasma line and this is first Plasma TV i ever owned, here is what i notice so far:

* GREAT black level, with my old LCD tv the black were never solid enough

* For some reason i notice more "fluid" type motion, alot more responsive with less motion blur..i dont know if this is a feature with Plasma TV's but i love it!

Only thing i need to do now is to fine tune the TV, i remember with WALL E it had a feature to tune your TV to make it looking alot better but i since sold WALL-E any suggestion as to what i could get to tune it?

I'd head over to avsforum and search your tv for optimal settings. You'll be able to get the most out of your settings over there. Nice plasma btw, i just got a PN50A460 myself

I think in three years we'll be nostalgic for plasma displays. They might need to be babied more in the start (depending on your opinion of image retention), and they're heavier and consume more power than LCDs, but the picture is hands-down better: thorough blacks, no motion blur. TV makers are moving exclusively to LCD sets, however, and, by the time everyone stops making plasmas, the next technology will be still too new to be very affordable. This is the twilight for plasma sets, so get in now, while they're available and cheap(er).

Just bought a PS50A556S myself, being delivered on Saturday. Going from a Sony 1080p LCD, so I can't wait!

Carlsberg19, I'd be interested in knowing your settings, if it isn't too much trouble.
