Which Actor Makes You... - Blu-ray Forum

see a movie just because he/she is in it.

The only actor that will cause me to see their movies simply because he's in it is Johnny Depp. I feel like JD will bring something original to the film enough to at least make it worth the ticket/rental fee.

Is there an actor out there for you?

I'm much more likely to see a movie because someone directed it rather than starred in it.

I'll see movies directed by the following:

Steven Spielberg
Mel Gibson
Guillermo Del Toro
Peter Jackson
Alfonso Cuaron
Ridley Scott
Tom Tykwer
Martin Scorcese
Clint Eastwood
Danny Boyle
Ron Howard
Quentin Tarantino

The only actor whose movies I will see because he is in it is Daniel Day-Lewis, because he doesn't take on as many roles as other actors and always gives a breathtaking performance.

I always seem to be aware that Jim Carrey has a movie out, not necessarily guaranteeing I'll see it though.

Audrey Hepburn, I've seen all her movies and many of these fall outside of movies I would normaly watch

I follow so many it'd be to exhausting to make a list. Anytime an actor impresses me I find out if they're in anything else interesting.

Lately though if it's not in Blu I'm not as likely to watch it...

I totally concur with you and your list. But I'm more curious about which actors people are interested in. Also, I would have to take Tom Tykwer off that list after The International
