Default Bad connection

Well I geuss I'll try the ps3 thread instead, seeing as I was completely ignored on the psp thread. But now seriously I can't get my ps3 to recognize my psp via bluetooth connection. I've tried everything. I've mathedup the ssid codes, security, aep and all of that jazz but I keep getting the same message saying that my connection was lost. I'm not on line at home right now, but I don't belive you have to be in order to make the two connect. Help me out guys and gals please.

Umm. It's not recoginized via bluetooth. It's recognized via wireless internet if you have a 20GB PS3 this will not be possible,.

I have the 60 gig version. So I geuss I need an internet service. After I'm all hooked at home with verizon, I'll try it again. I could of sworn though that you didn't
need to be on line in order for the two to recognize each other. Just like two psp systems can via adhoc mode.

I may be wrong, but the PSP doen't have Bluetooth functionality, right? I know they came out with a dongle, but unless you have that then your PSP won't ever connect to your PS3 via Bluetooth.

I didn't even have to manually match up settings, the setup process did everything for me.

I forgot about that. On the old firmware it was all manual but when 1.6 or 1.7 came you had to re-setup the PSP but it was very automated.
