Was Silk hot?

Mine's at 10 tonight, I'm expecting a shitty crowd, I've seen it far too often at the theatre yet it's the best option tonight.

Oddly for The Dark Knight (midnight) there was some chick a few seats over dressed like she was going to the club, my buddy was distracted for the first few minutes of previews as she walked in.

For Dark Knight there was a super HOT chick dressed up as Harley Quinn. Everybody was staring the whole time.

But uhh, going at 10pm tonight, went to the theatre on my way home to swipe my card and snag my tickets, NOPE! Error on my account and transaction was invalid, apparently they switched the system since last summer so I needed to print them myself (instead of the previous swipe and go system). So wound up having to go to customer service, then the manager, finally getting my tickets. They were totally cool about it and I wasn't lying, but that woulda been a mess had I waited til later!

Lots of people who seemed under 20 buying tickets which upset me cause I know it'll contribute to a shitty crowd. One parent even came and asked the guy at the cash why it was R and if it was actually violent, "No, not really, it's artistically done, not sure why they gave it an R-rating...".

Oy.

They were also giving out mini posters of the characters but they only had Silk Spectre II and Nite Owl left so, no deal.

mostly empty theater at the noon showing here in poway, ca. but thats why i went there. small theater in the middle of the day means fewer a$$holes. couple of old ladies who got squeemish when the more graphic scenes showed. mom with son behind me walked out during one of the sex scenes.

loved the movie though. love rorschach.

Wonder why they left. I thought it was a good Mother/Son movie.

Is that what the person said? lol
Yes, I swear. The lady was in front of me in line, potentially with kids at home or something but she was asking about the content, which I think is good but she obviously went to the wrong source.

Paraphrased, but he DEFINITELY said the "it's artistically done, not sure why they gave it an R-rating", something along the lines of "it's not that bad".

Yes. The attempted rape, nudity, and sex were artistically done also.

I got off work at 4pm and drove one mile to the nearest Theater and saw it It was amazing. Rorschach was fantastic. I couldn't believe how many people brought kids ages 4-12 to see this. There was a good little crowd considering it was 4pm. Some elderly people walked out when Dr. Manhattans full body shot was shown

What is it with people? Do they go see movies by picking the most colorful poster can't they read that it is rated R?

Have a question. I went to the IMAX here in Augusta and the screen was not that big. The big screen here in Savannah is over twice the size. So I was wondering. Do all IMAX theaters have the same size screens? Thought I saw some pictures where the screen is HUGE! This one where I went to was a Regal IMAX. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. But the AWESOME picture and sound made up for it.

Just got home from watching Taken. I have no desire to see Watchmen, but I stuck my head in and peaked at how many people were in the theatre. I would say the room was maybe a little over half compacity. At the later showing it was fuller but still a lot of empty seats. I don't think it is going to be as big as all the fanboys think. For all of yours sake I hope I am wrong.

Going to see it early tomorrow to see the crowds. Wife and son are staying home . Hopefully, I get to watch the movie without too many people around.
