Default The IT Crowd

Anyone else a fan of this British series? I just finished the second series. While it is extremely British humor, I think it can appeal to most people even people who do not enjoy Brit humor. Series 3 is coming out soon, and I am really looking forward to it. Only on regular DVD by the way. They actually had a pilot of a US remake that did not get picked up. Also if you watch The Mighty Boosh you will recognize a few people in this one.

I have been a huge fan of this show since early '07, sadly I feel like I can relate to Moss and Roy, I'm like a lonely IT guy.

SecretAgentNumber6 if you like this series, you HAVE to check out Garth Marengi's DarkPlace, it's awesome!... and actually I like it a lot more then the Might Boosh.

Have all 3 series and love them. Consistently good episodes, and great characters.

Douglas was a fantastic addition to the cast, his antics in episode 1 of series 3 are legend.

"So you want me to sit on my arse and do nothing? I'm you're man!"

"You know I don't think I've ever looked in this drawer...... Wow, a GUN!"

If you also like this kind of humour, Graham Linehan who writes IT crowd also co-wrote Father Ted, fantastic humour.

I will have to see if I can find Darkplace. I also still have to watch more Mighty Boosh.

Just bought the DVDs for my Dad the other day, he had seen it in England but I got them off of Amazon. He loves it and tells me to watch but I haven't yet.

I've watched the first few episodes on Netflix instant but haven't really gotten into it yet. The first few have been hit or miss for me so I assume it gets more consistent from what I am hearing.

Matt Berry is awesome in that show but the other guy gets on my nerves.

Although I do love that song he sings "I'm a rapper with a baby... with a baby... I'm a rapper with a itty bitty mutha f***in' baby... yeah, don't say maybe... cause I did it with a lady"

I sent my friend the three series on DVD and he is quite enjoying it. It is very british, so you really have to understand that humor to love it.

I'm pretty new to it too. Watched the first three episodes on DVD via Netflix. Trying to pace them out, watch like one episode a week, since I know there's only so many episodes to see and I don't want to exhaust the series too quickly.

I do love it so far though. Fantastic stuff, glad I went with it as one of the first shows in my "watch a lot of UK TV shows" kick.

It gets better and better as it moves on, and then you find yourself upset because it has so few episodes and you want MORE.

I insist, check "Black books", its basically the same bit in a book store

That's exactly why I'm taking my time watching the series. I don't want to rush through it, though already I can tell I'll be rewatching it after I'm done anyway.

I do have Black Books on my netflix queue as well. Looking forward to checking that out. Thanks for the recommendation.
