I won two pairs of monster HDMI M series and they are fakes.Real good fakes and work just fine but they are still fake so if your planning on or already have bought these on ebay sorry for ya

i returned mine and got a full refund

Watch out for name brand cables like audioquest, Monstercable, PS Audio, being sold on eBay from sellers in Hong Kong, they are fakes.

Well i only brought them because they were only $40 vs the $200 dollar price tag on them at the stores.How do i know they were fake well because the M on it looks just like this>>>M without the slant and also the way it says series is all wrong,also the quality didnt seam like monster Yes even thou Monster is over prices they still make a quality cable and also these are also being sold from USA not just Hong Kong But if ya dont wonna listen thats kool

if the OP actually received what is in JW's/ebay listings pic, then those look like the exact same cables to me

edit: upon closer inspection, the fonts of the "M" and "series" do look different, but maybe that's just a chance by monster

interesting...

I hate to admit it, but I would pay the current bid of $20.72 for an 8' M-series cable. No more than that, though. My $4 Monoprice cables all work flawlessly.

To the OP: If it looks too good to be true (1/5th the price of retail), then it probably is.

calm down sir, no one is trying to call you a liar. plus, we here use monoprice for our cables

but the last part is kind of interesting: the SELLER admitted he sold you fake cables?! can't you report him or give him bad feedback at the very least (i haven't used ebay for like 4 years so i don't know what viable actions are available).

thats the ebay pic on the seller's listing, i'm guessing it is also what he received since it differs from the monster.com pic

He didnt say the word FAKE actually he said that they are Monster cable quality

I didnt report him or give him bad feedback because he gave me my money back,YES i should have gave him bad feedback but i didnt want bad feedback to me
