Default Favorite title Sequence....

I just saw Watchmen and the title sequence in this movie is one of the best I have seen in awhile.

What are some of your favorites.

The title sequence for the Kingdom is pretty good also.

Casino Royale is pretty good.

I'm usually pleasantly surprised by movies that LACK title sequences -- but I know that's not the point of this thread.

Winner. When I saw it in the theater, I was bummed when they ended.

Fight Club. In the director commentary, David Fincher says he sold the studio on the creative direction of the film simply by showing them the highly stylized title sequence.

Was watching The Dark Knight with my Step Dad recently and as the opening shot came on he was just like, "No title, nothing?" Seems Nolan did that for both those movies and can't remember The Prestige if he did or not.

I enjoyed South Park's opening song.

even if you don't like the movie the opening credits for Napoleon Dynamite were interesting.

Star Wars doesn't have opening "credits" -- just the title and the crawl.

Nothing beats the original Superman (1978).

Oh, I have a personal one.

The opening scene of Deer Hunter was filmed 2 blocks from the house I grew up in.

O V N- the thread title asked for "title sequence", does that have to include full credits?

I thought the Watchmen title sequence was well put together.

Spider-Man 2 - it essentially tells the entire first movie using Alex Ross paintings in the title sequence.

The Incredible Hulk - it shows the origin of the Hulk as a tribute to the 70s TV show and the event leading up to Bruce Banner fleeing.

Hey, hell if I know. I thought you were saying Star Wars had a good opening credits (since you talked about opening credits in the paragraph above).
