I'm wondering what the exact variables are that affect the Xross Media Bar background because it doesn't change colour monthly like the PSP. Seems like it could be season and/or day-to-day weather based but today it's purple for me.. and it's been a very sunny day.

i bet it is some guy in japan who spins a wheel of color... where it lands is the color of the day

this is pretty cool. It would be funny if you tried playing a baseball game and they didnt let you start because of a rain delay. lol

I always thought it would be great that if real players were going through slumps they performance in game would be affected. That would be cool.

Real time injuries would be cool, maybe next year. i would like real time rosters for all

i agree, they should have real time stat updates for your games. so if a player sucks this year his stats should go down, also real time injuries to mimic the real game

let say your playing a game and the real team is playing, one of the players gets injured in the inning they are batting and gets hit by a pitch.

now you are playing a game and that player is on the bench, a stat comes up and reads this player injured for being hit by pitch...replace player..lol thats where it would kind of suck.

I was joking around the other day about MLB 07 The Show and how it really is a close simulation to the real game. I was talking about rain delays and if they'd make the player wait it out. But then later we were doing the draft for a season and saw Josh Hancock's name taken on one of the computer's rosters, so you probably wouldn't want any games to have real-time injury updates...
