Cursing the store that didn't want to give me the Curse of the Golden flower

I went to frys over lunch, and curse of the golden flower was on sale!

I picked up one, and went to the checkout, when they rang it up, there was much consternation as the sales girl called over two managers...

I told her that the street date was next week, but I had to try.... she ignored me, and made me wait 10 minutes while she went back to the manager in charge of that part of the store, only to tell me that they couldn't sell it to me yet.

The most irritating thing is that they made me wait 10 minutes while they verified the obvious

wow, they usually don't catch it. I think fry's is notorious for selling Bd's before they are supposed to.

This happened to me when I went to pick up Pirates on the 22nd. I saw this and thought I'd save Pirates until later. But Future Shop wouldn't sell it, so I ended up picking up Pirates in the end.

Got it held for me until Tuesday heh

The stores should have promotions like $10.00 off the Blu-ray purchase for their mistake of violating the street date.

When I was in Bestbuy I waited in line for about 7-10 mins for Stargate and T2 only to find out that they were not due to be released until the following Tuesday. I stated that I had waited 7-10 minutes in line and a few more minutes to confirm the street date and requested to speak to the manager. He told me that would place those two titles on hold until Tuesday and I would receive $10.00 off each title!! F--ing sweet! More stores should practice this. It will keep the staff in line and pay closer attention to Blu-ray.

seriously this movie is awful. Horrible. there is a guy who keeps saying announcing stuff and he has an annoying voice. I couldn't watch past 20 minutes.

I have a ton of wu-shu/ninja/asian action movies, but this is one to avoid. Unless, you like long boring movies with annoying voices and no action scenese whatsoever.
