Curse of the Golden Flower problems - Blu-ray Forum

I rented this from Netflix. I sent the first one back, because of skipping and freezing problems, and the replacement (which looked flawless) had the same problem. This occurred in the 3800BDCI and the PS3, both of which have up to date firmware (and this is an old movie). Has this been a known issue?

I got this movie over a year ago - no problems. I have a Sony BD300, ancient but updated, no hassles at all.

Same with a Samsung BD-P1200. No problems at all.

No problem with my copy , and I have played on my PS3 over several firmware updates..

Nope, my rental from Nutflix was just fine a while back.

i own it and watched it a few times without any problems using ps3

I watched it when i first got it about 7 months ago on my ps3 zero problems. Just watched it again just to see if it played with the updates on my ps3 again it played without a hiccup.
