Question about Blu Ray picture - Blu-ray Forum

I have a PS3 and am playing PotC Curse of the Black Pearl in 1080i on my Sharp LC32D43U and it appears to be grainy. Some people say they cant tell the difference. I believe I can but I do notice the grain.

Is there something im doing wrong or is the movie suppose to be grainy?
