Default Newbie question

Hi,

I'm just now starting to investigate buying a blu ray player. Are there any players that will connect to the internet and allow for watching media streamed from other sources? Ex. If I wanted to watch the latest episode of Lost on abc.com, is there a player that can do that?

Thanks
Rut

That would require a player with an internet browser... PS3 is the only one with that capability at the moment. However, I'm not sure if that website plug-in will work on the PS3 web browser.

But, is that web browser based? Or is that one option that only allows for a direct link to Netflix?

The OP seems to be looking specifically for a player that will allow for watching various broadcast network presentations. That would require numerous webpages. Thus, it requires a player that has a built-in browser......

PS3
