WIth these Steelbook Editions, are the regular blu cases inside them? I have no interest in having the steelbook things as part of my display

no the package is in steel... so you wouldnt get a flabby plastic blu case just a rock hard steel one. These are for the collectible junkies that love that kinda stuff, they've started to grow on me a bit aswell. Hope that helps.
