Default Worst experiences with Blu-ray cases

Do other people get ****ed over? Seems like i always try to get the best looking case and end up getting the worst case sceniros. This can apply to dvds i guess to. Any stories. Once i got the coolest looking case out of the bunch open it up and the plastic background inside is all cracked.FMY

My worst experiences are with TV cases where the button's broken so your disc is swimming around in the case.

Thats why I always shake the box to make sure nothing is moving around. Did this with DVDs also. The only other problem I've had with cases is the sticky left over from the security stickers on my Lionsgate blus

You aren't the only one mate..My issue is I always get the coolest looking one only to later find out that the plastic on the cover is squiggly or squished. (You really can't tell when the BD is inside the plastic)

Yes, I always give the case a shake before buying. The broken plastic pieces from the center lock make a very distinguishable sound. Obviously, if the disc is loose, you can feel it.

Sometimes, though, the paperwork is just shuffling around. After awhile, you get to becoming an expert on the differences of all the sounds going on inside a shaken, factory-sealed store BD.

Even so, I've had a couple dud cases, but nothing too awful.

I haven't had too bad of a record with cases. My case for Get Smart came broken. My case for Juno came with the tabs in the center broken for the Digital Copy. I didn't get to choose in-store, so that's why I didn't get better ones. Other than those two, all of my cases were fine when I bought the movies.

I havent had too much problems.. but this happened to me a few times and i hate it.. When the Paper inlay is off center and sticking out of the plastic on the case and the Security seal was placed over it, so when you peal it off it tears some print off the paper inlay.

Never happened to me, my most common problem is when the glue from the wrapping doesn't come all the way off.

Payback and House of 1000 Corpses are two copies that i had this happened to.. I took them back when it happened but crappy none the less. My Hostel 1 had the problem you had with the adhesive not coming off.. Take some zippo Lighter Fluid and a paper towel and rub it off.. but take the Inlay out before you do.

I started a thread on this awhile ago.....basically there was a string of purchases where no matter how careful I was removing the plastic wrap I ended up tearing the plastic underneath.

People responded like I was an idiot and no one else ever had a problem...
