Hi, I have 2 Sony Blu Ray players (not to hand to check numbers as I'm at work). I just made a Blu Ray disc using Toast 9 and a La Cie burner.
Everything seemed fine until I put it into the player. It gave a message saying 'This type of disc cannot be displayed'. I ejected it and put it into an older Blu Ray player, again Sony, and it played fine! What may be causing this problem? I need to send these discs off to festivals (I'm a filmmaker) and need them to be playable/readable! This disc does not have a menu, it's just a film that is designed to play when the disc is inserted. Are the newer players more fussy than the old about disc structure? Help/ideas appreciated. |
