Susperia on Blu in Italy - Blu-ray Forum

Esplatter.com announced this hitting bluray in Italy and Im wondering if anyones heard any word on a probable Blu-Underground release of this in the states. I know they offer it on regular dvd and I dont understand why this wouldnt be one of the first releases on blu. I personally havent seen this but everyone talks so highly about it.

Is this one of the "Mother" trilogy?

That would be a great release. I'm still waiting for them to release Maniac on blu ray. Fingers crossed.

Sadly, I believe this title is owned by The Weinstein Company in the US. Aka, a BD release is coming the week after never. They can't even put out BDs for their new releases, nevermind catalogue titles...

Hopefully a quality region-free release will come out in another country.

Ya Tom Savini's shotgun to the head scene in HD!

I would upgrade my dvd of Susperia for the sound alone.

What sucks about this even more so is that there are no english tracks or subs even if you bought the Italian import.

I pray it would have at least english subs, the only time ive bought an italian dvd without any subs was just so i could have a very nice print of The vampire and the ballerina (L'amante del Vampiro). I pray its only a matter of time before blu ray gets the likes of Argento, Fulci and tons more unusual films. The fact that Bird with the Crystal Plumage made it onto Blu Ray gives me faith.
