Default cant play blu-ray in vista x64 anymore

hey everyone, i got this computer from hp a while back im not sure of the brand or anything now because i have swapped parts and put it in a new case but it came stock with a blu-ray drive and it worked while i had x32 vista on my system but when i upgraded to x64 ultimate and reformatted my computer the blue-ray will not play anymore when i attempt to watch one in media center it gives me the following message "CANNOT PLAY DISK no program installed to play blu-ray disk in media center" and when i tried in vcl media player (not sure if u can watch blu-ray's in this one but i tried anyway) it gives me this message "your input cannot be opened: VCL is unable to open the MRL 'dvd://F:\'. check the log for details." i also tryed it in power dvd 8 but i do not have it anymore and cant remember the error that it gave me. anyone have any ideas of what might be wrong? drivers perhaps? or am i missing some codec?
