Default Which movie will be number 1 this weekend?

Will Fast and the Furious repeat this week?

The buzz says it will.

How do you think the movies will stack up this weekend?

If Fast and Furious didn't do so well last weekend, I would of put Hanna Montana above it.

However, I think that Seth Rogen films are like gold (especially this one as I typically hate his films, but this one actually looks funny), so I think that it'll pull through to the top.

I am pulling for Observe and Report, but have not read about the trackings for it. Anything, but Hanna Montana...please!

I'm getting sick thinking about it, but I'd guess that the Hannah Montanna will be #1 and the Observe and Report at #2

Since no one wants Hannah Montana at #1 lets revolt and go see Observe and Report 7,000 times this weekend!

Hard to say, Fast & Furious kinda surprised me on how crazy big it opened and I know some of my friends are still going to see it this week. Hannah Montana is the wild card here because her 3D concert did huge but Jonas Bros bombed earlier this year so I don't know. For Observe & Report, I will be seeing it opening day but the movie is seemly more dark than other Rogen comedies plus Jody Hill is still relatively unknown so while I hope it opens strong, I doubt it will do big $$$. Oh, and Dragonball will bombed hard

My guess:

1 - Fast & Furious (30 - 40 million)
2 - Hannah Montana (20 - 25 mill)
3 - Observe & Report (15 - 20 mill)
4 - ??
5 - ??
6 - Dragonball (5 - 7 mill)

If you're a fan, why the hell would you want them to make an even crappier version of the DBZ story on film? You know this movie sucks, you haven't even seen it and you know it....why?

WHY?!

I remember when the ATHF movie came out a year or two ago the box office for it that weekend was like....500k? LOL

Expect a similar outcome for Dragonball....

but yeah, I voted for Dragonball because it looked lonely.

My real guess would be Observe and Report.

Hannah Montana will crush Fast and the Furious. I'm sorry but the Disney money making machine will be in full force with her after the disapointing opening for the Jonas Brothers. They need to make their money back now.

Has there been a single trailer for the movie though?

The thing about Dragonball: Evolution is that people are going to see it(especially kids around 10-14 years old) because of the title saying Dragonball in its name. So it may pull a good amount of tickets(maybe even more then we expect it to) but I think the overall outcome is going to be after about 1 or 2 weeks we will see a decrease in sales. I even saw some kids buying the Dragonball: Evolution videogame. It may not get the #1 spot but maybe like #3 or something like that.

Estimates on numbers aside, I agree with this right here.

So far, all I've seen is that Hannah made $13 million on Friday and they are looking for a record breaking weekend for overall box office.

Found this image and thought it was hilar:

Glad to hear about the prospects for a record setting weekend. If Hanna made $13 million on Friday then it will win. Teenage girls are known for flocking the theaters in the first weekend of a popular (target demo) release.

And imagine their...um...surprise when they discover it's largely a country-western movie.

And as for "Paul Blar...er, Observe & Report"'s poster, at least it's not
http://www.impawards.com/2009/observ...port_ver3.html that makes you want to put a hand up in a Curly-block (nyuk, nyuk!)
