Default Which movie will be number 1 this weekend?

I'm not so sure that the new offerings will bump Up from the number one slot.

What do you think? Which movie will be number one this weekend? How will they stack up? How much will number one make?

Up will be #1 again I think. We might see over and Land of the Lost come in around 3 and 4 or 4 and 5. But then again I shouldn't underestimate the power of a Will Ferrel movie no matter how bad it may look.

I say Up, because it's going to screen in 2D & 3D, and animations work well with everyone (the family) so "UP" will take the number one spot.

Oh it's Disney & Pixar, everyone looks at those companies as "GRADE A" animation, so that's another factor

Up looks great.

The Hangover looks hilarious

and

Land of the Lost seems like a bucket of laughs... hopefully better than step brothers

Land of the Lost, and may they stay lost forever so we do not get another Will Ferrell movie.

I saw the theatrical trailer for the Hangover and almost died laughing. I will be contributing to them winning this weekend.

Up should take $35 million, and none of the other movies will get that much. Land of the Lost will probably get second due to the intensive marketing.

Hangover will do ok but since it's an R rated movie, those can't compete money-wise with kids G rated movies.
