Default What is the museum in Chicago?

Man, I am stumped here. I went on a trip with an ex-girlfriend a few years back and we went to Chicago and we went to a museum. Inside the museum there was a floor where there was baby chicks hatching. Anyone know what I am talking about?

Yup. I used to go there all the time as a kid. Haven't been lately. Went to the Aquarium and Field Museum last year. Little harder to do now that I am in TX.

I have a friend who is getting married at the Field Museum, and I'll be going there for the first time.... can't wait.

That is cool! If you have the time, which you probably won't, the Shedd Aquarium is very impressive and right next door, as is the Adler Planetarium. I haven't been in the Adler in probably 15-20 years! It is on my list for next time I am in town.

Cool I like some museums and whenever I travel (which does not happen often) I try to see a few. My best memory is one at the Louvre in Paris when I saw the most mythical paint ever made, Mona Lisa.

Museums can be cool sometimes

Since we are on the topic of museums I had better represent my hometown and tell you that the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan is nice as well. They have alot of cool exhibits there like the chair Lincoln was shot in, the car JFK was shot in, the Rosa Parks bus and alot of other cool stuff.

I'm also pretty big on museums.

I was a science docent (teacher) at the Newark Museum, Newark, NJ while I was a Grad Student in Geology (Rutgers University) from 1982 to 1987. I probably made several thousand presentations in that time period, since I taught more classes than any other science instructor. The Museum is the largest Museum in the State (a mid sized museum) and at the time, I taught all science subjects. But, that is another lifetime ago.
