Chicago on the samsung?

Hello,
Has anybody here had issues playing chicago on the samsung bd-p1000.
I am trying to determine if it is a problem with my disc or if it is the player.

If I try to use scene selection to go to chapter 2 the audio starts but the picture is frozen image from whichever part of the movie is playing before I selected the scene, also if i choose the movie showcase it will pause throughout the first scene I chose which is chapter 13.

And the last thing i noticed was I tried stopping and starting the disc again at the start of chapter two, which is where roxie shoots the guy, but when i press play the disc starts up where velma is offering her a chocolate in prison.

Any one else have similar problems?
