I need help understanding how PS3 handles Blu-Ray movies when my HDTV can only handle up to 1080i.
My question is, I notice that all Blu-Ray movies says that it is 1080p. My HDTV can only handle 480i, 480p and 1080i. No 720p and no 1080p. So when I am watching a Blu-Ray disc using my PS3, what resolution am I watching? If it is 480p, How can I get 1080i? BTW, no HDMI inputs on HDTV either. Only component. I am using high quality component cables. Please help. Because it all looks like 480p to me. |
