Yes, my setup is currently showing that I chose 1080i as the display settings.

The only Blu-Ray movie I have watch is Talledega Nights. It's the only BD movie I own right now. Why do I get small black bars on top and bottom of screen though? I dont get it. Shouldnt BD movies fill my entire TV screen? It is a widescreen.
