Default Surf's Up white spot

There's a tiny white spot on the bottom black bar of the movie, anyone else notice this? Just wondering if it's my disk or a common thing with every copy.

This is a bug with the menus. Supposedly there is a way to make it not happen, I just don't remember what it was. Do a search in Paidgeek's insider's thread for it and you may find it.

Thanks for the quick response Kris, I'll do a search for that thread.

EDIT: Found the solution if anyone else was wondering..

Since the lit pixels are in the matted area between with the 1.85 picture and the 1.77 screen you will not see the problem if your display is overscanning (typical). The pixels can be cleared by bringing up the game and then returning to the feature. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Full screen?! Do you mean it fills your 16x9 screen? It's actually due to overscan. If your TV has no overscan (which actually shouldn't really exist anymore) you'd see slight bars on the top and bottom of the screen.

As for the issue, Big Fish had an issue on the BDP-S1 where if you opened the menu, part of it would stay there on the screen. Very odd...

No white spot(computer playback).

1.85:1 AR, there are small black bars since it is not 1.78:1.

?? WOAH! Didnt know!! My TV is 1½ year old, and there are NO bars! It has bars at 2:40 and smaller bars at 2:20... But no bars at 85 and 78... I kinda like it that way, but had no idea they were supposed to be like that! Doesnt bother me though

I'd rather have the small bars, then I know it's not cutting anything off for other sources (which my TV is... and it sounds like yours is too).

Arrow

Came today from Amazon.Com, so glad I upgraded. Would have to say it has reference quality PQ and AQ and I'm barely into the movie.
