Default Need help finding the name of this movie

Hi there

I am trying to find the name of a movie I saw a long time ago, what I remember is

there was this cavern or cave, in it was a spiders web but the spider was a big as a car, and in the center of the web was this woman, the man was after something the woman had,
[Show spoiler]this thing was the reason the spider never attacked her, and once the man took this thing the spider attacked and killed the woman.

any ideas ?

Krull. And that's not the end of the movie.

One of the good 80's Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies, with Labyrinth, Neverending Story, Logan's Run, Black Hole, Dark Crystal, Princess Bride, Clash of the Titans...hey, I think I just made the next Blu-Ray pack.

I forgot Dragonslayer and Tron. I could come up with a better list with a little rest.

It also could be King Solomon's Mines with Richard C and Sharon Stone.

The woman doesn't die at the end, the guy takes an hourglass and will magically die at the end even if he does beat the spider to the exit.
(And no, it's in the middle of the film, Jayromy.)

And not on Blu-ray yet, but is one of Sony's latest Digital-Copy movies, so there's good hints the studio hasn't forgotten it for the home-theater crowd.

Krull was pretty bad-ass, I especially liked the flying Clydesdales that left a fire trail when they took off!

[Show spoiler]Actually the lady of the web, turns the hourglass over as he approaches her lair through the web, he barely gets to the lair when the time runs out. He pleads his case to her to find the next location of the black fortress, he tells her she shares the name of a trapped princess. After she reveals the location of the fortress she smashes the hourglass and tells him that the spider will not attack him, but his life runs out when he loses the sand. After he leaves her lair the spider comes after him but he holds up his hand with the sand in it, the spider backs off, but gets so pissed it attacks the lady of the web's lair and kills her. the man then escapes the web to die shortly after telling the location of the fortress to the prince.

no sense in starting a new thread. but lets see how good you guys are..cause i'm not sure i remember enough

but it was a group of young cadets? trying to get into the fbi? i dunno. i just remember they were only going to take one person..and they kidnap one and throw him into this room and tell him his friends are dead or something and he needs to talk, and they beat him up and he ends up peeing his pants (dunno why that sticks out ) then they show the room where he was being interrogated and it was where they were all being trained

man..i sound crazy don't i. that enough to go on? haha
