Default Death Note/Death Note II: The Last Name/L: Change the World

Anyone see them? I love these movies, too bad the Japanese Blu-Rays do not have English subs.

I've been wondering for a few months if I should order them, I got them on my Amazon wish list. I have not seen reviews of the movies per say. I love the anime and that's been the reason I want these movies. You have to keep in mind that japanese live action taken from anime are sometimes a little cheesie but usualy still very good.

I have a busy period on BD coming up with Bug's Life, Underworld 3, Inkheart, Princess Bride...but right after that it's slow for me in late June & July. I might order them, they are at $26 on Amazon.

Love these films. Really is a shame the blu's don't have subs......
Always a hope that they might release outside of Japan at some point

Still the DVD's do look nice on my shelf, they make a very nice set.

The movies are in no way as good as the manga or the original anime. Do yourself a favor and read or watch them, you will not be disappointed.

I got the anime on dvd, I also got the complete manga collection. I just love that Death Note series, one of the best ever.

I am thinking I will probably not mind the movies that much. I have quite a few things live-action from Japan base on anime. I usualy love them even if they are a bit cheesie. I got all 48 episodes of the Sailormoon live-action, of course the plus side of that is having those cute Japanese actress (ok so I like Asian girls )

I have Death Note and Death Note - The Last Name on Blu-ray. I also have the DVD's and although the Blu's aren't reference material, it's still a decent bump up over the DVD's both in PQ and AQ. For fans of the series and movies like myself, it's worth to get them. Bought them at Amazon Japan for about 3.600 Yen a piece.
I don't think I'll get L on Blu though ...

I am up to disc 5 on dvd, I cant find disc 6 localy so looks like I will be hitting up amazon for that. I also got disc 1 of the live action disc one I have NOT seen. I got home with the first disc and found out there was another part so I decided to hold off till I can find it when I got the cash.

This was a very good series on tv and I want to get my collection finished
