Everytime I see Timberlake is gonna be on SNL I always DVR 'em because one of 2 things always happen. Biel shows up (last time as Jessica Rabbit, looking beyond sexy) or another SNL Digital Short, Thank you Justin!

That was definitely a surprise to hear. What I didn't like or don't like is when they have a host who has had success on the show in the past and they feel they have to do a certain skit which to me only seems to be , i.e. "bring it on in to ....ville." That was funny six years ago, but I just don't think so anymore. BTW, Lazy Sunday is still the funniest digital short.

Was thinking the other day upon listening to Eminem's new album to how much things have changed. Let's rewind 10 years ago to spring 1999 and look at Justin Timberlake's progress and how he has positioned himself in that timeframe. Boyband frontman, easy target for Eminem lyrically and others and now he's widely accepted for both his music and comedy, maybe Zac Efron or someone in 10 years from now will be in a similar position. Could say the same for Leonardo Dicaprio too but we'll keep this topic on Justin for obvious reasons.

When I heard Timberlake was going to be on SNL this weekend I actually was hoping to watch which is very rare.

Its funny how a major station is now catching up to what Fox was doing almost a decade ago. Remember "In Living Color" use to push the envelope all the time with some of their skits.

Justin Timberlake is a much better actor then singer, IMO. Example - Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan. Hell he was even good in that awful Love Guru movie.

+1, I was very surprised I liked his work in Alpha Dog. That was the first time I'd seen anything with him, than again in Black Snake while it was a small role he was great and yet again I really liked him in Southland Tales, even if the movie was a little strange overall lol. I did not however see Love Guru.
