Default Drive In Theaters.

Anyone still have any of those near them? I personally cannot wait to move back to Ohio in the next two weeks. I grew up in Mansfield and Ontario and there's two Drive Ins in the area; the Springmill and Sunset. Apparently, Springmill just added a second screen so I was like; "Holy Cow!"

We have one about 45 mins away in Muskegon MI. Haven't got a chance to check it out yet. I wonder how good it will look/sound-never been to one.

We used to have one in my town, but they tore it down last year. It's kind of a slummy one anyway, so I wasn't upset about it or anything. Plus it's kind of in a riff-raffy part of town. It was super-old and needed replacing — panels were falling off and stuff.

That said, I did like going to it on very rare occasions.

I went to one a few times outside of Buffalo, NY, as a kid.

When driving home from NYC the other day, I stopped at a Dunkin Donuts, and reclined my chair back quite a ways, and thought "wow, this is pretty comfortable". It wasn't completely lying down, but it was leaning back way too far to actually drive in. So I thought it'd be nice to try out at a drive-in, to just relax and watch a movie... but that's not the point of going to a drive-in.

Mansfield has the Jones' Potato Chip factory there. This chips are the best, hands down. I grew up on eating those.

The only one left around here is the Ford-Wyoming Drive-In in Detroit. Not the kind of place where you want to sit in a parked car for 3 hours.
