Question for PS3 Slim Owners - Blu-ray Forum

On the PS3 slim when you insert a disc does it spin in or just slide stright in? Just curious. My old 40gb that I traded had the disc spin in, but earlier PS3's that friends had their disc would go straight in.

Yeah it was curious to me too, when my brother bought his 80 GB MGS4 edition it would spin but my 80 GB Motorstorm did not.

My launch 20GB PS3 would not rotate the disc when I loaded it. My Slim does rotate the disc.

yes it spins in, its not like a whole spin it just rotates the disk a bit

Definately spins. Kinda loudly I might add. Had me worried for a bit.

I have the original 60gb and the slim an no they play the disk the same
