Default Matrix Trilogy U.S. version vs the U.K. version? Is the quality the same?

Matrix Trilogy U.S. version vs the U.K. version? Is the quality the same? I didn't care for the Animatrix and I heard the the U.S. version of one of the second disks was messed up but how does the rest compare? Does the U.K. version have a messed up disk as well?

I didn't notice any problems with any of my UK discs. The UK discs are taken directly from the US versions with the FBI warning intact at the beginning.

Well on the US release there is an encode error on disc three. http://home.earthlink.net/~jmorg/matrix/Matrix.htm

Does the UK version have the same error?

Odd, I have the US set but didn't notice such macroblocking. Any idea on which disc at which time frame it happens? I'd like to recheck to be sure.

This issue has been confirmed by many people, so unless they all have finger prints on their discs...

Interesting to hear that the Aussie one doesn't seem to have the issue though.

It was noted here as well. Part of the "problem" though is that the PS3 (and possibly other players) are pretty good at disguising and error correcting. As such, my US copy only looks a bit "weird" like there was a slo-mo shot immediately followed by a fast-forward shot. There's no macroblocking or anything. It skips the bad frames.

Personally, if you have a PS3, I wouldn't worry about importing. Anything else- why not just rent it first?
