How do you make new psn account? - Blu-ray Forum

I have a psn account, and i dont really like my psn id, so i tryed but couldnt figure out how to start a new account so i can change my psn id, is there a way?

Create account:

http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/SignUp

Sign out of PSN on your PS3:

PlayStation Network >

on Account Management > Sign Out

Then Sign In with the new account email and password?

so i have to start new account on computer and not on ps3?

I'm not sure how you get to the signup stuff on PS3 when you've already got PSN account details entered.

k, and since i haave a new account would i have to reinstall my demos and psn games again or do they save on Hardrive?

as long as you don't delete the old account, you can still access all your paid DLs. the free demos and trailers shouldn't be affected either way

demo/psn games are active for ALL USERS on the system

i have 4 or 5 psn names on my ps3 and they ALL can use the demos/ps1 games i download from different users

Yes, PSN games are active for all accounts...AS LONG AS YOU DON'T DELETE THE ACCOUNT IT WAS PURCHASED ON. scroll to a paid PSN game, press "triangle" and select "information". It'll say:

"This content can be used by people other than the content owners. However, if all owners are deleted, you will no longer be able to play the content."
