I have a Sony 300. Won't play on mine either. Takes forever to load and then never does anything

I also have the latest firmware.

Default i would have moved this if i knew how so i cut/paste

my T2 judgment day just arrived and i only hear sound no pic! when the menus come up only part of the image is seen and this appears on screen when the disc is loading.....

Chk 01 subroutine:skynet has deteced a profile 1.X blu-ray player at this location that is not connected to the inernet. and will run with full menu animation.for optimal performance and full access to content. please utilize a profile 2.0 player

i have a pioneer BDP-5.1 FD. and it's up to date whats up? i'm pissed! and people are coming over

I have a PS3 and I experienced the same problems. The movie would not load (although it did recognize I have a profile 2.0 player ). Anyway, when I click on cancel, I manage to get to the main menu. The movie plays great, but I have no bd-live. I tried it also with my PC (i have a bluray drive) and still get no connection. It may just be the case the bd-live features/server is not online yet....

By the way, I am in Canada and i hope that Lionsgate is not like Disney and excludes Canadians from access to bd-live features....

Another issue I have is the following: My PS3 recognises the disc as 5.1 HD-MA and so does powerdvd on my pc. I have no receiver (just tv speakers for now , but an upgrade is an option). Still, shouldn't the PS3 or powerdvd give 6.1. instead? (Sleeping beauty which I bought from the states displays 7.1.)

I bought the disc from amazon.ca, but on the cover it clearly states 6.1. Is anybody else having the same issue or I am i missing something?

I undestand this, but shouldn't it at least indicate what the "disc" has? I mean, I don't have 7.1, but for "sleeping beauty" my PS3 still indicates 7.1 HD-MA when i press 'display'. I guess, I have to check that with someone who has a 6.1/7.1 configuration, to be sure...

To administrators: perhaps this thread should be merged with this one:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...58#post1927658

It seems that there are a lot of people complaining about this disc...

You can get a ban here for using the words "PS3" and "problem" in the same sentence.

And that's why I said "my" PS3 and not "the PS3"

Yeah, this sounds similar to problems people reported with the Iron Man disc. Basically, the BD-Live severs can't handle the load. Try disconnecting from the internet or disabling BD-Live for those of you having problems.

I have the same exact issue on my PS3. I have heard that this is an issue with the companies server.

You guys have obsolete players if you cant load T2. BTW It works fine on Panasonic BD-35 and PS3. However I cant connect BD live, I think sky net servers are down its NOT the player.

Default Problems With My Mexico´s Terminator 2 Steelbook!

Problems With My Mexico´s Terminator 2 Steelbook!

I bought it at mixup (mexican video store), and then put it on my Samsung B-DP1400 and it played well until it appeared an option to select the country I was watching from... I chose Mexico (of course), and then it freezes. Black screen and then nothing happens!!! I went to the store and they kindly made me an exchange for another copy of the same product and the same s**t happens.

So, I wonder... Is it the disc? The whole pressing is defective? Or is it my player?

My BD PLAYER has the 2.0 version firmware, which is the last one that actually appeared on the official Mexican Samsung Site and needs.

Can anyone help me as to why is this happening?

And how to correct it?

PLEASE!!! HELP!!!

Nriq.
A mexican BD fan

So, when you press "display", does your PS3 indicate 7.1 HD MA?

I had this problem 2 night ago with my Iron man Blu Ray. I read that I should disconnect my BD live. Once I did my disk loaded right up no problems. Might this be the same problem?

I just bought the expencive set of T2 I hope this problem is not with each disk but rather on the live server end.

Mine works fine on my LG300 Bluray player, I'm in Ontario, Canada. Took relatively longer to load but nothing too noteworthy.
