Default I got the best deal in the world on a Pioneer....

Well I had drill weekend this past weekend and I was walking around our bx. I overheard a guy talking to one of the salesman about the pioneer 5020. I stopped and just told the guy that is was probably the best tv they carried.

He proceeds to tell me that they have them on clearance around the side in a big tent sale. So I head on over to check out the price.

I walk up and the tag was printed for 1300 but had been crossed out and wrote in for 1000.00 bucks

So I was freaking out and asked the manager lady if the price was correct.

She said yep, we only have 6 left of that pioneer 5020.

So I bought 3 of them, that is all I could fit in my buddies truck to drive back to austin.

I am keeping one and two of my best buddies are paying me for the other two. I will post a pic for proof.

I am the happiest guy in the world, I have wanted a pioneer plasma since I bought my samsung but just didnt have the money to pay for one, even with my employee discount at bb it was still too much.

well now I gonna take my samsung 50 inch and put it on the wall in my bedroom. I will add pics to my ht gallery when I do it.

Just thought I would tell all you guys, cause I am never in the right place right time.

all my non-ht buddies are like dude why did you buy another tv, but I think I would have been a fool to pass up a deal like that.

That's a great deal. My B/X has crap for TVs, well, mostly... my friend and I each got our TVs from there, but we got the best ones they had. At least they'll price match anyone in area, and best of all, no sales tax!

Hell hath frozen over... Good deal! I'm an LCD guy myself, but if I were to buy Plasma, it would be Pioneer... and 1000.00 that's just robbery

well the funny part is we can basically thank the general consumer thought that plasma is crap because there were a bunch of folks looking at all the clearance lcd's and no one was really paying attention to the plamsas.

I went back the next day (sunday) when i picked the tv's up to take home and the manager lady was off, I asked the guy working if I could get more at that price and he said he couldnt make that decision. anyways I live over an hour away from base.

I usually have bad luck but I guess even sometimes a blind squirrel finds a nut.

You're like the luckiest guy on Earth right now! And pretty decent too I might add. Anyone else would have turned around and made profit on the two your'e practically giving away to your buds.

Congrats on your deal, but I must say you lack integrity as purchacing items from the BX and reselling, even at cost is not authorized.
