Default A Great Deal On A Pioneer Kuro 50" 5010FD

There is a great deal on a Pioneer 50" 5010FD at Sam's Club. It's a Sam's Club auction and you have to be a member of Sam's club, but it might be worth it, because you can get this TV at a great price. Also someone told me that if you sign up for a membership, you can cancel it right after you buy a TV, and get you money back for the membership.

I picked up one of these for my parents back in May from this source.
Total with shipping and tax for my "winning" bid was under $1,500.

I have the 60" Elite myself and don't have them side by side obviously since the 5010 is at my parents home. I do see it every two weeks and have to say it looks fantastic! I can honestly say I don't look at it and think my 60" Elite looks vastly superior.

For anyone looking at something in this price range I say, go for it!

And yes, I signed up for a membership on-line so I could bid. I promptly cancelled for a full refund without incident after I the set was delivered.

I think if you put the 5010 and V10 side by side you'll much prefer the picture of the V10.

I got my 500m from a local contractor who did work on my parents house. I paid $1800 delivered. The krp-500m is THE BEST display Pioneer has ever produced and THE BEST tv ever made so far. I would check local mom&pop stores and/or a local home theater contractor to see if they can get one. My guy buys from ADI who is an authorized dealer.
