$9.99 on Amazon. Grabbed it up.

Wasn't going to upgrade, but nice price.

Ditto. And it's a fun movie to boot. So $10 well spent

You still won't be upgrading. The BD looks better than the 4K. Go figure

The BD was cool to begin with so I already know what to expect. I've debated on getting the UHD for a while because it's a film I really like. I just kept holding off. It's a decent enough price and I'm okay with that. Plus, I'll sell off the BD.

Oh, and HDR is enough of a reason, too.

I prefer the UHD for it’s warmer color temperature and the HDR is excellent.

So, here is where we get to the color temperature discussion. Which one is right? I prefer warmer coloring to begin with, but I'm not sure if that's what was intended for this film.

There are times when an antiseptic look is preferable and that's what I get out of the BD. IMO, it looks damn good anyway, but I'm in this for the HDR.

I also prefer warmer colours too but some claim the BD is closer to the theatrical look. I didn’t see it in theatres so I have no idea. I found the BD looked a little washed out but I viewed it on my old projector setup. HDR looks very nice on this. I need to re-watch on my OLED.

The last time I watched it was on our non-HDR Vizio we used to have. I'm looking forward to seeing this on the OLED. I have a feeling we'll be very pleased with the outcome nonetheless.

I’m sure you will, and if you don’t it didn’t cost you much.

I preferred the SDR version over the HDR10 version on my E6 OLED. HDR10 seemed a tad soft. Maybe I will see how it looks with my Oppo 203 forcing to DV on my E6, now that the DV issue is fixed.

Bought this during the lightning deal but then canceled after looking at this thread. Still kinda curious to compare it to the Blu-ray but with so many mixed reviews it really is a lower priority. Shame they didn’t completely knock it out of the park. This is a fantastic film.

It still comes with a BD. I'm going to sell the one on my shelf for probably $5. Think I'll keep the slip, though.

Definitely worth it.

Even though I have read this thread several times, I was still too weak not to go ahead and buy it last night since I do enjoy the movie quite a bit. Also, an upgrade to the 4k version of the digital code doesn't hurt either.

I was watching it last night, and thought it was pretty good. Sound, definitely. Image was very good in live shots I thought, and heavy cg not so much. I didn't have any issues with levels, blacks, color.

I have one of the hard to get steelbooks from a while ago so it's going in there. I have the soundtrack also on a hard to get clear vinyl 2 lp set...

I didn't care too much for it in the theater but the bd won me over big time for whatever reason.Hoping the 4k takes it up a notch. At 9.99 it was hard to pass up.

I've been tempted to pick this up despite the many negative comments about the UHD, just to compare for myself; at $9.99, I couldn't pass it up. Arrived today, and I was surprised to see it still came with a slip, and a pristine one at that.

If you still want to own this I saw it was $10 at Target today, still with slip.
