I got the corrected version as well lol. Blade Runner: The Final Cut on 4K, Disc 1 (The Final Cut on blu-ray), Disc 2 and Disc 4. Was stoked and hoping to score Disc 3 which has the alternate cuts on BD, but guess those are no longer in circulation anymore.

I got mine today and all I'm really interested in is the 4K disc as I already have the 5 disc set.

Trouble is as I'm watching it I heard a slight skip in the sound during the Kawolski interview and then just before Deckard gets to Bryant's office it's freezes and starts sputtering for a few seconds.

This is the first disc I've had problems with and of course it would be with my favorite movie.

I don't like the way they ship this set with the discs stacked on top of each other.

It does look nice though. Nice grain level.

Can I ask how everyone is redeeming their included code?

I chose movie anywhere since it was the default and my iTunes version upgraded to 4k but my Vudu version is still showing HDX only which concerns me.

I sent a support ticket to Vudu but haven’t heard back.

I redeemed on vudu and got UHD. Hopefully yours will get fixed. I always double check on this

In my experience so far, UHD discs are EXTREMELY sensitive to skipping when even the slightest smudge is on the back of the disc.

I had a similar problem to yours when first watching Blade Runner. Took the disc out, wiped a small smudge away from the back, and sure enough, the same section that skipped played perfectly fine.

Contrary to my previous post, I decided to get this when I saw it at bestbuy.com for $14.99. It came in the mail today. I already have the 5-disc Blu-ray version but for some reason I took off the shrink-wrap so can't sell it as new (I don't remember ever watching this movie since I had it on LD). Plus that set has disc 3 (us & int'l theatrical cuts, directors cut), and disc 5 (workprint). The UHD set has discs 1, 2, and 4 of the old set so now have duplicates.

So now I have but don't need or want:
* a digital copy of the Final Cut
* 2 identical Blu-rays of the Final Cut with extras (same as UHD disc)
* a DVD (disc 2) of Dangerous Days & Making Blade Runner
* a DVD (disc 4) of the Enhancement Archive
Any suggestions for the best way to unload all this? I don't want to sell the 5-disc set as I'd then be missing discs 3 & 5. I 'll probably sell them individually.

I redeemed this morning through Movies Anywhere (same for another WB title Fantastic Beasts) and both show UHD on VUDU.

So far all my UHD's ordered from BB Black Friday have come with a slipcover!

Good to know. I read in on the Vudu forums that using MA didn’t provide the UHD for some titles.

I've had my disc for weeks now and enjoyed it personally a couple of times.

But tonight I had a large group over to view it, as we've been meaning to since seeing BR 2049 about six weeks ago.

Most everyone sans my wife had never seen a UHD 4K BD before, and though some found the film not to their liking, literally everyone was wowed by the presentation. I had folks who have seen BR literally 50, 60 times who told me they had never seen it in such a pristine fashion, even in theaters 35 some years ago. In fact when the movie ended, they begged me to play another UHD disc just to see what else the format could do.

I've been extremely pleased with this presentation since I've received it, but it's such a win to hear others comment on the WOW factor of the format.

It sounds like you may have convinced some of them to go 4k.

Stories like this are great. It really drives home the reasons you upgraded in the first place, as well as putting all that expensive gear to good use. No better way to enjoy things than with your friends and family.

I dont have a 4k tv or 4k blu player yet but i will have in the near future so all the films i buy now from june onward to now have been 4k of newer releases. Why the heck is Blade Runner 4k disc so hard to find at a decent price($20-30max), $prices ive seen so far are all over $35 and it seems to be out of stock everywhere?

The UHD looks nothing like it did in the theater back in the day, like seeing it for the first time really. I was never a huge fan of the movie honestly, never owned the bluray, but the Final Cut in UHD is probably the best classic released so far

It is glorious on my front projection set-up. Transcendent, truthfully.

That said, I was blown away by A Few Good Men. I haven't screened The Fifth Element or Leon yet though.

Not sure which 90s and earlier release most impresses the videophile purists....

Wow you guys in USA really got scammed with this set. I'm from Spain and bought the UK version on Amazon UK: the set includes the same 3 BDs as the 30th Anniversary Special Edition (which includes every film cut and extra known to man) and then the 4K UHD disc. No DVDs in sight which is at it should be.

So the main complaint on the site's review regarding the extras from this set does not apply to the UK version, it includes the best discs (everything basically).
