DANGEROUS DAYS, the Deleted Scenes, and all the other extras finally in HD would be most welcome!

Ought to be seeing this on the big screen on the 27th (for the seventh time lolololol), provided the tier in my area doesn't change. Don't let me down again, Boris!

Shame it's always the final cut, unless you live in London.

Chris

I'm fine with it how it is, On the Edge of Blade Runner tho.
Would love it to look better than this

I'd love to see the Director's Cut theatrically. Maybe some day...

Meaning the theatrical cut? I'm jealous.

I'd love to see an 82 print someday though most are likely faded-especially a 70mm print.

I've seen the 2007 Final Cut print which looked much more balanced like the UHD does in color.

The best I've ever seen the film look is on the 1992 DC print. That thing is stupendous and absolutely perfect because it's a hands off analog transfer from the vault materials done on equipment that was ten years more improved with the audio mixed right from the stems to remove the VO. It was super rushed by WB to do a nationwide rollout after the success/press of the Workprint accidentally leaking out. They actually wanted to just throw out prints of the workprint labeled "director's cut" to which Scott said: "uh, hell no." Michael Arick had little time to put it together which is why he wasn't allowed enough time to get the International snippets brought over. That's the one thing that keeps the 1992 DC from being definitive in my book. The funniest bit about seeing this print is that it was so rushed that the 1992 credit info card in the end credits is literally crooked because it was so hastily thrown in there.

Honestly, my definitive cut of the film would probs be the Director's Cut with the additional violence restored, the original unicorn dream sequence, and the shot of the girls in the hockey masks. Oh, and Roy saying sorry to Sebastian.

Well, no, because I'm not a massive fan of the various CG adjustments done. Also: ****er > father.

The 1992 DC print was my first time ever seeing Blade Runner and the experience was awesome! It's the dragon I've been chasing for the last 28 years

I wish I could say that my introduction to Blade Runner was via a theatrical screening. But nah, it was courtesy of my dad's VHS copy which I watched on my 4:3 CRT TV in my bedroom.

Same for me. Only the VCR was in our living room, and the "remote" control plugged in via a wire lol.

It's funny because it was fairly late in the re-release's run and the print somehow made it to the small town I was living in (and things like this never usually showed up there).

It was on one of the theater's smaller screens and in goddamned mono, but it didn't matter. I was locked in from the opening shot. I'll never forget it

I have never had the ecstatic privilege of seeing this projected. That's a cardinal sin if ever there was one.

I had that one, but sold it to get the 'Beyond Vision' version with the 3 artcards included. Even 25 years ago I was chasing the tat for this movie.

Did see the Final Cut twice in 2007/2008, both from DCP, once at the Ritzy in Brixton then at the BFI IMAX. So awesome seeing this classic with a sold-out audience in attendance.

I saw the Director's Cut on what used to be Tulsa, Oklahoma's biggest indoor screen, back in 1992. I'd had a so-so opinion of the movie until this viewing, which made me realize we hadn't yet seen Ridley's true vision. When I found out a few years later this wasn't really his director's cut and he was working on a "final cut", I was very excited to see it. Which I did in 2007. It's now one of my favorite films.

The Director's Cut isn't my preferred version, but I'll always be grateful for it. It opened my eyes and mind to what the movie could be.
