I think it’s widely considered one of the better looking 4k disks. I’m going to hold off since this release doesn’t have Dolby Vision or the other cuts in 4k. I know it’s cheap but I’m tired of double, triple dipping. This feels like a film that will receive a definitive 4k release in the near future.

Hope you're checking Amazon Marketplace as well as I found it there last year for $12 plus $8 shipping. The 5-disc case was a little beat up but I got a replacement for $5 and all the discs were in fine shape, so the bottom line was $25 total. Good luck.

I would be delighted to be wrong but the 40th anniverary has just come and gone without so much as a Tweet from ****** Bros. And as they will not release a new edition without the fanfare of an anniversary we are now looking at a 45th or 50th edition.
As I say, I would welcome being wrong but the BR:FC 4K shows no sign of going out of print and will continue to sell well year on year. WB would need a reason to devalue the current 4K. |

The end of the scene where Dekkard scans the photo of the replicants hotel room only really makes sense if you watch the deleted scenes because when he prints the picture of Zhora the pictures at a different angle then she appeared on the screen. However if you watch the deleted alternate version of the scene the printed pic shown in the film matches the image of her on the scanners screen.

So, is the 1997 Westwood game still canon to Blade Runner 2049's continuity?
Alcon is publishing the game digitally, and they made 2049, so it is still possibly canon, but somehow never brought up. Playing the game, I never saw anything that contradicts the movies, the 2049 prologue shorts, or Black Lotus. |
