Yup! Me too. Although, if they perchance don't screw up badly (yeah, when pigs fly), I really only want to buy the first one.

Yeah after Furious 6&7 UHD I'm going to be cautious with Universal from now on lol

Why were the Furious 6&7 transfers that bad? I was thinking of picking them up but decided to stick with the box set I recently got on blu-ray. So I am guessing they are not worth the upgrade. I have this set on pre order but im not sure if I should cancel or not.

The issues were audio-related. Furious 7 has a very nice transfer.

This. You can learn more in their respective threads, but I didn't find out until I bought Furious 7 that they're using lossy cores for audio.

FWIW, if it does have DTSMA, then they literally put 0 effort or money into this release and I have even less faith that the PQ is anything more than the original upscaled.

this same site lists all 3 individual UHD movies with DTS:X so, tell whoever put the listing for the trilogy to change the audio. it's also listed everywhere else (other sites) as DTS:X for the trilogy & individual releases, so, there's that.

I pre-ordered this from Amazon last month without Fandango Cash and when I clicked on "Order Details" it says the item is no longer in stock/no longer available. However, there is a separate listing for it with a higher price with "Fandango Cash" that is still available for pre-order. Any ideas?

Mine is only $45.99 which I is $10 less than the listing that includes "Fandango Cash".

The BDs of the first two films are horrendous. So even a decent remaster would be welcome for me.

Reactions to that disc are all over the place though. Might be a TV issue. It looked terrible on my budget set, eager to check it out on my real HDR set soonish (hopefully).

Simce its Japanese and an english translation thats not exactly proof of it being a remaster. Can someone not just contact universal and ask if its a 4K remaster?
