I think their fulfillment is all over the place. I do get some things shipped quickly of course but only if it happens to be in my local warehouse. Anything further out and the promised delivery date is worthless. Even things that are supposedly in stock sometimes sits for days before shipping. I spoke to a manager last week about the fly attractant not shipping and he told me they are having trouble with their system saying items are in-stock when they're not actually in stock, or not in stock in my local warehouse where it would ship, so the "arrives tomorrow" thing is sometimes inaccurate. It happens to me regularly. |

Physical Media is so dead that shops can't even fulfill pre-orders because of the demand (even for flawed releases).

Lol, to throw gas on the fire, I discovered this firsthand this morning. Was looking for the Abyss to no avail. Found the 4K Steelbook version of Creepshow and bought that instead. The funny thing is, when I looked up Creepshow on the Walmart website, it said sold out online and showed no availability in all stores in the area including the one I was in...but there I was holding a copy in my hands when it said the store has none in stock. So it probably is worth checking the stores if you can. You just may get lucky. |

Received my copy yesterday and popped it in my machine this morning.. had a few various spots where it would freeze for a moment,, and around the 58 minute mark its giving me some serious blockage / bad encoding .
Wiped the disc which is spotless,and even tried it on a different player with the same result. [IMG] ![]() [IMG] ![]() |

It's unbelievable to me that I'm about to get The Shining ABC tv movie from Shout Factory via Amazon before I get the 3 Cameron films in 4K from DMC when I preordered them back in January.
But here we are. Just waiting for the Amazon truck. |

My Amazon pre-order hasn't moved, currently just says "we'll email you when we have an estimated delivery date." Pre-ordered on 2/15. Nothing but one 3rd party seller listing on the actual product page when earlier today it at least showed "temporarily out of stock."
This is obviously a totally botched release from a fulfillment perspective. |

I e-mailed them it earlier this week as I assumed, based on previous excellent experiences with them, that my Camerons would be coming by release date at the latest. Their reply was that they paid extra for premium shipping from the distributor so their copies would arrive in pristine condition, and they were expecting them to show up later this week with, order shipping obviously to follow.

Yup,, around the same time stamp the same thing happens...
Even if i try to FF just before the 58 mark its stalls at 58.36 seconds... 58.44 the movie then plays with no problem.....so far ! Last edited by Jutty; 03-12-2024 at 06:27 PM. Reason: added info |
