Amazon isn't able to get a bottle of fly attractant to me within a week let alone discs. They're just incompetent these days. I placed an order for a small bottle of fly attractant 2 weeks ago that was "In stock" from the 3rd party manufacturer and "arrives tomorrow" fulfilled from Amazon. A week and 3 phone calls later it never arrived and they finally refunded me. I re-placed the order and this time it arrived 2 days later. That's just how Amazon handles things these days. Orders frequently don't ship for days even with Prime and they often miss the promised delivery day. They don't know what they're doing.

I wouldn't use any Amazon experiences as any kind of input into what's going on in the home video industry.

Not saying you're wrong obviously but that hasn't been my experience at all. I get everything in one or two days, when they say I will, expect for movies. I live in a big city near a warehouse to be fair, but that's kinda my point. it's not a shipping issue, it's a disc manufacturing or supply issue.

T1 not getting released on 4k (yet!) has absolutely nothing to do with the T2 4k release! It has everything to do with Cameron wanting "creative" control of everything and having no time to do it due to his attention being entirely devoted to the upcoming Avatar sequels.

Everything is affected by supply line issues these days. My local grocery store still has a hard time getting certain common items on their shelves. Nothing works right any more after 2020.

Me too, it’s been dispatched but has a new delivery date of 27th March instead of tomorrow night by 8pm which is what they initially told me. Lying Gits!

Walmart is incompetent. They told me before they have no way of looking up what titles they have coming and can't even look up what titles they have on their shelves. You just have to come in and look around.

When I called them last October they couldn't even tell me what their upcoming holiday return policy was, which is hilarious because I later found out it was already in effect when I called them, but the managers didn't even know it.

I'm not defending Walmart. I hate everything about it, but they are the Steelbook Exclusives now. He's like Tryok for Best Buy. His posts so far have been accurate.

Doesn't really require a question, rhetorical or otherwise. Three beloved films, two of which have never been released on blu-ray, got mutilated by the antichrist and people are p*ssed. What more do you need to know?

Yep, I just woke up and got it in my email. I'm pissed off. I was planning on watching it tomorrow. I've really been looking forward to it, this is one of my all time favorite movies.

This is the third movie I have pre-ordered on Amazon that did not arrive near the release date.
