Well DAMN !!!,,
just contacted walmart.com regarding my faulty disc,,, they are refunding me what i paid for it due to them not being able to send a replacement, AND on top of it told me to keep the disk.

(Ordered a copy from Target last night and will be here Friday )

Abyss arrived from Amazon for me today and Aliens shipped. They say my True Lies will be delivered Saturday but until they ship it doesn't really matter what they suggest will happen.

Disney stuff has been a problem for Amazon for a long time. With these seemingly being hard to get in general on top of that it makes sense Amazon has crapped the bed here. The thing that annoys me is I had a "guaranteed" release day delivery status right up until Monday night when it changed to "we'll notify you." That's what's unusual and pretty shitty of them.

Anyone else notice the "Source material resolution" for all three films is locked for editing? Guess too many people have been trying to change it (correctly) to Upscaled.

It was on a discord chat for a disc swap collecting group so I don't know the full context, but my wife prefers to watch films with subtitles on (whenever my copy eventually arrives!) and it seemed plausible for the type of thing they could **** up.

Yeah I'm in the UK too. I messaged WOWHD yesterday to ask about the delay but no reply. My card was charged too, if they reply I'll post an update.

I mean, technically it is native 4K, from film. What they did after the fact to “upscale” (and again, I would not use that terminology myself because it’s not increasing the resolution) or “enhance” it with AI doesn’t mean it’s actually been upscaled to 4K from a SOURCE originally lower than 2160p resolution. So if people are trying to be cute in changing it just because the AI bothers them, I commend the site for locking the field.

Got mine today from Amazon here in NVA. Order was placed January 2.

I will watch the whole thing this weekend, but I did take a quick look and had no problem at all with the 58: min mark in the SE on a brand new Panasonic UB820.

Wow, it's not even on their website! It's no longer on the bestbuy.ca website either. And marked as "on order" on the Sunrise records (formerly HMV) website.

So after talking to an Amazon rep (I know, not the most reliable source of information), I was told that Amazon has stopped shipping them because of a “manufacturers technical problem”. I can only assume this is the faulty disc issue that many people are having. I don’t know if EVERYONE is having this issue or if it’s more of just bad batches. I would assume that there are going to be quite a few complaints from customers and suppliers about this.

Guess I can’t be too mad. Looks like I couldn’t watch it even if I had it. But now I’m wondering about Aliens as well since they extended my delivery date on that too.

I remember a feature Amazon had/has called "Where's my stuff?", and you could put in the information, and they would get back to you via email/text. I can't find that on the site now, and I'm definitely not calling them to be driven 'round the bend.
All I know is it hasn't shipped, and it will be late. You think I'll get a discount due to it?
