That is a good point.

I would love for it to be this week, but it's the day after their current 30% off sale ends, and might potentially be the day of may announcements since Monday is a holiday. I feel like they'll want to put some distance between this 30% off sale. I'm thinking March 11th or 18th. But would not mind being wrong!

I was trying to think of what new releases they may want to have it land on. They usually time the sale with a day of major new releases. Now looking at it, I'm thinking now that it may be March 18th when Godzilla vs. Biollante and A Woman of Paris are released.

Well, it is Valentine's Day. Would be nice for Criterion to give us some love on this day and not wait until next wee. Still, with it being Criterion...it will probably be the 18th.

Either one of these looks like a July or November slate, but I seriously hope a slate like this comes soon. All of these titles are long overdue.

IMO, May is a great line up of titles. Now, let the complaining begin!

I'll always feel like complaining with every passing month of no SubUrbia (1996) or Eyes Wide Shut.

Wow, another month with seven releases. I wonder if that'll be the new norm for Criterion? Great slate by the way, "Killer of Sheep" is finally getting the home video release it deserves (though I wonder if 4K is overkill for such a low-budget film). I'm also curious to see how the Criterion "In The Heat of the Night" compares to the previous Kino version.
