Obligatory haul post. Ordered this morning, but just getting around to posting.

Thanks, didn't know about the "key" thing but unfortunately it wasn't available to me. Got my hope back for a few minutes only to be crushed again.

I've spent like $600 at their site over the years, not sure why I had it in my head they took PayPal this time (senility). I only use PP to sell some movies/books then turn around and spend it on movies/books. But my bank account is a little "light" right now.

So I spent some PP funds on my Indicator wishlist instead.

I'll catch ya next time, Criterion! Hope everyone got their wishlists fulfilled (sorry Ray).

Amazing, I already got a notification that my order has been packed and I'm awaiting the shipping notification. I ordered my limited edition The Terror Within double feature 5 days ago and shout hasn't even processed the order.

Honestly I'm curious myself. It happened to me for the first time today as well with Salo. Was in-stock in my cart but then said backordered, yet with the sale price, as I checked out.

I didn't have to buy anything but I did, only because I only need another 118 points for my 2nd ever $50 Criterion gift certificate (which at the rate I'm going, averaging 3 films every flash sale, I should be able to obtain this by the February or October 2022 flash sale). Currently at 882 points so I'm not too far off.

So here are the 3 male-oriented movies I decided on:

I've only seen Old Joy and Bull Durham once in my life and I don't remember either film very much. I have yet to see Man Push Cart, but I'm very excited to watch this.

What's the normal wait time on backordered items?

Placed an order for 9 titles yesterday & only Frances Ha was showing as backordered. Just checked the order there & its now showing 7 out of the 9 titles are backordered.
Will I be waiting a while?

I was talking about this in the UK Criterion thread the other day. I did the upgrade and it was totally worth it. The extras were the main thing (the commentary is superb and very funny) but the packaging is also lovely, especially Indian Corn booklet.

"Unavailable" simply means they've run out of stock on hand, and need to have more pressed.
