Let's not make it a long Good Friday Criterion, come on.

I just checked the page for "The Long Good Friday' and none of the stills have changed and a trailer/scene hasn't been uploaded. Unless Criterion have been able to fix that glitch that automatically updates the page when an upgrade is going to be announced, it looks as if we might not be getting announcements today.

It appears Criterion has changed their shipping policy. They are raising the minimum amount required for free shipping. It is now $75.

I already have the Arrow version of The Long Goodbye, but I honestly don't get why Criterion are dragging their feet with their release. A restoration was already completed and done ages ago and I don't think getting a recent interview with Neil should be much of an issue, I don't know.

They're holding out for that coveted interview with Bob Hoskins.

It's hard to find time on his schedule these days, though.

What is the deal with the delay on announcing The Seventh Seal 4k? I would have thought that would be one of the first wave of 4ks. I would get the BFI and be done with it but for the translation errors.

I’ve seen stuff as late as 5:30/6 over the last decade plus, and for a long time expected it as such. Just cause it’s been earlier for a bit doesn’t mean it can’t still go that late.

Minimum 4 titles instead of 3 at sale prices. My Criterion wishlist has 3 titles left in it, so it looks like I won't be ordering from them for a while. I'm sure they will not notice.
