The 50% off only applies to pre-orders that will be released during the sale.

It’s Edward Yang’s birthday today! So might I suggest Yi Yi and A Brighter Summer Day. They’re long but I think they’re worthwhile. Especially Yi Yi, which is one of my favorite movies of all time!

It was 50 percent off when I purchased it at the register. The sticker was from last week’s sale for 30 percent off Criterions.

I noticed that B&Ns search has some real quirks as well. Had more luck searching Google and cup clicking through for a few of them.

Picked up The Others, Mean Streets, and the Karel Zeman set.

This was another originally released as a BD/DVD combo, so I'd say the more likely scenario is that it's being repackaged as a BD only. They've been slowly making that switch for many of the original combo releases when making a new print run.

Hard to imagine this would be the first Almodovar to get a 4K upgrade, but I guess anything's possible.
