I'd really love a David Lynch double announcement today - Fire Walk With Me and The Straight Story, but I'm probably delirious.

StudioCanal 4K has an encode by Fidelity in Motion. You don't beat FiM.

Solid month. The Sembene films look interesting, and I’ve been meaning to watch Xala on the Channel. Anatomy of a Fall was ok but nothing exceptional in my opinion. If I ever get Peeping Tom on 4K I’ll likely get the Canal.

On a side note, they makes five 4K masters in one month with Blu-ray only releases.

No it's on the BD too. The specs are breaking down the transfer info for both he BD release and the DVD release.

Anatomy of a Fall is a modern film, so wouldn't that be part of the new Janus line?

No, it's acquired from NEON. Only films acquired through Janus/Sideshow are going the Janus Contemporaries route. It's a really great film by the way. I may see it again in theaters if I can.

Damn, that was fast getting "Anatomy of a Fall" out! Now, if they'll just get "Killers of the Flower Moon" in the collection, that'd be nice. (I'm sure Criterion would love to; that's more up to Apple).

Anyway, I am in for every release that month except "Girlfight", which I already have a DVD of, and was never crazy about it. (Actually, it's techincally my wife's DVD, LOL).

I'll take one of EVERYTHING ELSE, though!!!
